538 268 SOCKET FOR AN ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE Description.
The present invention relates to a socket for an electrical appliance which is, for example, an electric tool and in particular a screw spindle.
Until now, screw systems consist of control units and spindles which are connected via a cable for transmitting power and / or control signal (s). Usually sockets are used for this yid branch cuts. These are, for example, mounted with an installation box on the spindle, whereby there is a socket on the cable. The mounting of the installation box in the housing can be inserted, screwed on or clamped.
Internally, a socket has been developed by the patent assignee and is shown in Fig. 4. The socket 100 has an installation box 101, a flat yoke 102 and a counter nut 103. The installation box 101 has an outer passage 104 for mounting in a part of the screw spindle housing which is not shown. The plate cover 102 is part of the screw spindle housing. The counter nut 103 is such that it should be possible to fasten the installation box 101 and the platiocket 102 to each other. The problem is, however, that the installation box 101 must be protected against high torques that can arise due to pulling cables with angular connectors. Therefore, in the construction shown in Fig. 4, the mat nut 103 must be drawn with a very high tightening torque. This currently requires some special tools that are very expensive to procure and keep in stock. In addition, more separate parts, for example an O-ring or a sealing compound, are required if the plug 100 is to be waterproof and / or 1,538,268 dustproof. With these additional separate parts, the plate cover 102 can stop being taken against the installation box 101.
In such a solution, a mounting tip for the plug in the screw spindle housing is required. For sealing the cover against water and / or dust, for example according to the requirements in IP54, this application must also be sealed when mounting the installation box. The installation box 101 must be so firmly connected to the plate lid 102 that the installation box 101 and the plate lid 102 do not become detached from each other in practical use. This is very black to accomplish.
EP 2 045 882 A1 describes a self-adjusting device socket which, for example, can be used, if necessary, for connecting a steering battery pack and a charging battery pack in electrically driven bicycles or vehicles.
The object of the present invention is to provide a socket for an electrical appliance with which the previously mentioned problems can be read. In particular, a socket for an electrical appliance must be provided which has a robust technical solution with few separate parts and which raises the hitherto technical risk when it comes to tightness and half-strength.
This object is solved by a plug to an electrical appliance according to claim 1.
More favorable designs of the socket are stated in the subordinate requirements.
As the socket described in the requirements only consists of a single part, the installation cost of the socket is reduced compared with previous solutions. In addition, the hitherto technical 2,538,268 risk when it comes to tightness and strength can only be reliably determined with the plug which consists of a part. Thanks to this, the result is a higher process safety in a process where the electrical appliance equipped with the plug is used.
Thanks to this, it is advantageous to realize a tightness for the device's plug contact against stench water and dust at least according to the requirements in IP54 for a smaller number of parts.
The socket can be manufactured with a tool that has different inserts that are designed for an electrical machine of different sizes in the electrical appliance.
Several possible implementations of the invention also do not explicitly include combinations of the above-described and described features and embodiments when applicable to the following exemplary embodiments. One skilled in the art can then add various aspects that improve or complement the respective basic form of the invention.
The invention is described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings and with the aid of exemplary embodiments. They show: Fig. 1 a schematic view of parts of a screw spindle as an electrical apparatus with a socket according to a first embodiment.
Fig. 2 is a three-dimensional view of the plug according to the first embodiment.
Fig. 3 is a sectional view of the socket according to the first embodiment. 3 538 268 Fig. 4 a plug according to a previous internal variant belonging to the patent applicant.
In the figures, identical elements or elements with the same function are provided with the same reference characters unless otherwise stated.
Fig. 1 shows an electrical apparatus 1 with a control device 10 which is connected to a spindle 50 by means of a plug contact 40 via a cable 20 on the end of which a plug element 30 is mounted. The spindle 50 can also be referred to as a movable element 50. The spindle 50 is also an electrically driven tool which can be controlled by the control device 10.
Although the electrical appliance 1 in this case is shown as a screw spindle, other electrical appliances are also conceivable, in particular power tools, which use the socket 40. The electrical appliance 1 may also have another movable element such as a spindle 50 to be connected to a control device 10 with the plug 40. For example, the electrical apparatus 1 is a punching tool, a riveting tool, a drilling tool, a milling tool, and so on.
Fig. 2 shows the plug 40 closer. The plug 40 has a first housing part 41 and a second housing part 42. The plug 40 is then formed in one piece or is in other words designed as a single component.
The plug 40 is for instance designed as a die-cast part which can for instance be made of metal, in particular zinc, aluminum, etc., or of another material, in particular plastic, etc. The socket 40, thanks to its design, is designed as a one-piece component so that it meets the technical requirements when it comes to the tightness and robustness that are required if the electrical appliance 1 is a screw spindle.
The first housing part 41 has three openings 44 and an opening 45 extends the passage opening 43. the opening 45 is, for example, for mounting 538 268 several plug contacts which are not shown. Then one opening 45 is arranged below the passage opening 43 in Fig. 2. The tire openings 44 are each arranged in the corner of an imaginary triangle, the passage opening 43 being located between the openings 44. In the passage opening 43 a fastening element 46 and a fastening element 47 are arranged in fig. 3. In addition, several elevations 48 are radially arranged between the outer edge of the first housing part 41 and the passage opening 43 on the first housing part 41. On the second whole part 42 there is an outer passage 49 for mounting the plug 40 in the electrical appliance 1.
Fig. 3 shows the plug 40 in section. The arrangement of the fastening elements 46, 47 has been shown more clearly.
As can be seen from Fig. 2 and Fig. 3, the second housing part 42 is formed as a tubular element which partially extends through the first housing part 41. The fastening elements 46, 47 are arranged in the socket so that they can hold an element in the electrical apparatus. 1 on the socket 40. The element can be a PCB or a cable bundle. The first housing portion 41 is substantially formed as a plate. The first housing part 41 has a substantially rectangular cross-section, where the rectangle on its short sides is designed as a [Age, in particular a semicircle.
If the plug 40 is mounted in the electrical appliance 1, no seal or special tool is required. Thanks to this, the assembly time for the plug 40 is very short, despite the fact that the technical requirements for Whet and robustness for the plug and the plug connection achieved by the plug are released.
The plug 40 can be made by die casting with a tool not shown. The tool can be made with several inserts and can thereby thank different an electric machine in different sizes in the 538 268 electric device 1. The electric machine can be a motor or a generator.
According to a second embodiment, the plug 40 can have several housing parts of the electrical apparatus 1 integrated.
In the embodiments described above, parts of the plug are manufactured by die casting. In this case, the housing parts of the electrical appliance, in particular a screw tool, are combined with the socket installation box 40 as a single component.
All the above-described designs of the socket 40 and the method can be used separately or in all possible different combinations. In particular, all the characters and / or functions for the embodiments already described can be combined optionally. In addition, the following modifications in particular are conceivable.
The parts shown in the figures are schematically illustrated and may deviate from the shapes shown in the figures in the exact design as long as their functions described above are guaranteed.
The plug 40 can be fitted with a surface protection so that no painting is needed.
The plug 40 can be designed so that several plug connections can be made with it.
Although the second housing portion 42 in Fig. 2 and Fig. 3 has a semi-cylindrical cross-section, this is not mandatory. The second housing part 42 can, if necessary, also be a second tubular element, for example a tubular element with an angular or oval cross-section. 6
